Our Pastor
Tae & Faith Hwang
Tae is the lead church planter in Beautiful church. Upon graduation from seminary, he took on God’s calling by moving to Chicago and became a co-vocational planter by becoming a certified personal trainer. He is married to Faith, who works as a dietitian in the northern suburbs of the city. Tae and Faith are both passionate about the church of Jesus Christ, enjoy drinking coffee, watching movies, and going on long hikes together. In addition, he has received his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Austin and Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as a youth pastor at First Korean Baptist Church of Keller and served as a ministry engagement intern and evangelism coordinator at MacArthur Blvd Baptist Church.
